What is the SNWA Water Smart Landscapes Rebate?
It’s a program where SNWA pays you to convert your grass to desert-friendly landscaping. You remove your grass and install xeriscaping, artificial turf, pavers, or travertine.

What Qualifies for the Rebate?
To qualify, your project must meet SNWA requirements:

1. Pre-Inspection is Mandatory: You MUST get approval BEFORE you remove the grass. If you remove it first, you get $0.

2. 50% Living Plants: At least 50% of your new landscape must have living, desert-adapted plants like Red Yucca, Desert Willow, Agave, and Lantana at maturity.

3. No Bare Dirt: The rest must be covered with rock, pavers, travertine, or artificial turf.
